Aseana City is a modern business and entertainment district in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City, located near the Manila Bay coastline and fronting the PAGCOR Entertainment City. Spanning over 100 hectares of reclaimed land, it has rapidly grown into one of the metro's most crucial commercial corridors, bridging the gap between Pasay's Mall of Asia area and Parañaque's gaming hubs.

  • Exact Barangay/City: Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City

  • Average Spend: ₱350 - ₱1,200 per person
  • Power Outlets & Wi-Fi: Outlets available at cafes in Ayala Malls Manila Bay; high-speed Wi-Fi in offices and hotels.

The Rise of the Reclaimed District

Aseana City used to be nothing but empty reclaimed land, but now it's home to some of the biggest corporate offices and retail spots in the country. The anchor of the entire area is Ayala Malls Manila Bay, which is currently the largest Ayala Mall in existence. Honestly, the scale of this place is ridiculous; you could easily get lost just trying to find a coffee shop. Anyway, the district is designed with wider roads and pedestrian pathways compared to the older parts of Manila, giving it a much cleaner, more organized feel that office workers appreciate during their lunch breaks.

The vibe here is very corporate-meets-leisure. During the day, you have call center employees and corporate executives running around Macapagal Boulevard. But once the sun starts to set, the crowd shifts to families and tourists heading toward the nearby bayside dining spots or the massive casinos just a few minutes away. Just a heads up: because of its proximity to the airport and the casinos, hotels in Aseana City are often packed with international visitors, so expect a very diverse crowd when you're hanging out here.

Commuter Reality: PITX and the Airport Road

If you're commuting to Aseana City, you are actually in luck compared to other parts of Manila. The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) is located right at the edge of the district. PITX is a massive, modern transport hub that connects Metro Manila to Cavite, Batangas, and other Southern provinces. So, getting here via bus or UV Express is incredibly straightforward. If you're coming from the north, you can take the MRT-3 to Taft Avenue station or the LRT-1 to EDSA station, then hop on a jeepney or bus heading to MOA or PITX. The traffic along Macapagal Boulevard can get heavy during rush hours, but it's usually manageable compared to the nightmare that is EDSA.

Parking is generally available in the large mall garages or building basements, but it can get expensive if you stay for the whole day. Taking Grab is highly recommended, especially if you plan to hop between Aseana and the adjacent casino properties along the bay.
