The Neighborhood Center of West BGC

Burgos Circle is one of the oldest and most established parts of BGC, but it still holds its own against the newer developments. At the very center of the roundabout is a pocket park featuring "The Trees" by Reynato Paz Contreras, a beautiful bronze sculpture depicting three interlocking trees. Honestly, the sculpture is a nice reminder of nature in a place that is otherwise dominated by glass and concrete towers like the Bellagio and Forbes Town Road. Anyway, the circular park is a major hub for dog owners who bring their pets out for walks in the morning and evening, creating a super relaxed, community-first vibe that you don't always find in other business districts.

The dining scene around the circle is top-tier. You have everything from high-end Italian restaurants like L'Opera to popular brunch spots like Wildflour and UCC Clockwork. The outdoor seating is where you want to be, especially during late afternoons when the shade from the high-rises keeps the temperature down. Just a heads up: prices here are definitely on the higher side, so be prepared to spend a bit more for dinner or a cocktail. So, it's best for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself to a nice meal.

Commuting and BGC Bus Navigation

Getting to Burgos Circle via public transit is pretty simple once you figure out the BGC Bus system. First, you take the MRT-3 to Ayala station. From the EDSA-Ayala terminal, you hop on the BGC Bus West Route and get off at the Net One or Mind Museum stop. From there, it's just a short 3-minute walk down 3rd Avenue. If you enjoy walking, you can also just take the MRT to Ayala, walk through Bonifacio High Street, and make your way west. For those driving, there is parking available at the Forbes Town Center garage and underneath the office buildings surrounding the circle, but slots fill up extremely fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Taking Grab is highly recommended if you want to avoid the parking circus.
