How to Get to CGC

Honestly, going here from Manila is surprisingly easy now compared to the old days. You just need to hop on a Genesis P2P bus from TriNoma or SM North EDSA, and it drops you straight at the Clark International Airport. From there, you can take a local shuttle or Grab to Clark Global City. If you're driving, it's just NLEX then SCTEX, exit at Clark North. Just a heads up, traffic along the main Clark gates can get a bit slow during rush hours, but once you're inside CGC, the roads are super wide and empty.

The Vibe and Workspots

The vibe here is very different from Bonifacio Global City or Makati. It's way more laid back, and there's actually room to breathe. So, if you're tired of the claustrophobic feeling in Manila, this place is a breath of fresh air. They're developing it as the next big tech and business district, but for now, it's a paradise for joggers and cyclists during the weekends. There are a few nice coffee shops popping up around the office blocks. We tried the UCC Clockwork here, and it's a great spot to bring your laptop and get some work done. The Wi-Fi is reliable and there are power outlets under the bench seats. Just make sure to bring a jacket because the air conditioning inside the corporate blocks is freezing.

Is it Worth Visiting?

Anyway, don't expect a wild nightlife scene here just yet. If you want clubs and bars, you'd still have to head over to Fields Avenue in nearby Angeles City, or check out the restaurants inside the main Freeport area. But if you just want a clean, organized, and modern space to walk around, CGC is pretty solid. The streetlights actually work, and the sidewalks are wide enough that you won't bump into anyone. Just remember that it gets incredibly hot during the afternoon since the trees are still young, so better visit early in the morning or around sunset.
