Navigating to the Capital of High Stakes
Getting to Solaire Resort in Entertainment City can be a breeze or a complete nightmare depending on the time of day. If you are coming from Makati or BGC during the evening rush, the traffic along EDSA and Roxas Boulevard is brutal. Honestly, your best option is to take the Skyway and exit at NAIAX to bypass the ground-level chaos. If you are relying on public transit, you can take the MRT-3 to Taft Avenue Station, then transfer to a jeepney or bus heading to PITX, and hop off near the Mall of Asia area to grab a short taxi ride. It might be a sweaty commute, so you will want to freshen up before stepping inside the casino lobby. Solaire is very strict about their smart casual dress code, so do not even try wearing slippers or athletic shorts.
The Perfect Cut with a Manila Bay View
Once you walk past the glowing casino floor and enter Finestra, the atmosphere immediately shifts from chaotic gaming to classic luxury. The interior has towering high ceilings, sparkling crystal chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto Manila Bay. If you time your reservation right, you can watch the sunset while sipping a negroni.
Honestly, their marble-score Wagyu steaks are cooked to absolute perfection, and the service is incredibly attentive. Just a heads up, the portions are quite filling, but you must leave room for their signature tiramisu. So, while it is easily one of the most expensive Italian steakhouses in Metro Manila, the combination of world-class cooking and the bayside views makes it a top-tier choice for any major celebration.
