Planetarium BGC is an educational leisure center in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, located near The Mind Museum. If you want to escape the scorching heat of Metro Manila while learning about the universe, this digital dome theater offers a cool, dark sanctuary. It features a fully digital 3D projection system that wraps around the entire ceiling, making you feel like you are actually floating through deep space. It is incredibly popular for school field trips, but it also serves as a great weekend date spot for couples who want to experience something different in the middle of Bonifacio Global City.

Immersive Shows and Astronomy Learning

The planetarium runs multiple shows throughout the day, each focusing on different aspects of space science, from the solar system to distant galaxies. The seats are designed to tilt back so you can comfortably watch the overhead dome projection without straining your neck. Just a heads up, they are very strict about the start times, so make sure you arrive at least fifteen minutes before your show schedules. No food or drinks are allowed inside the theater to keep the seating area clean. The narrator does a great job of explaining complex astronomical concepts in simple Taglish, which keeps both kids and adults engaged throughout the thirty-minute runtime.

Commuter Access and BGC Traffic Realities

Commuting to BGC is fairly straightforward if you utilize the local transport network. Take the MRT-3 to Ayala Station, then head to the BGC Bus terminal near the McKinley Exchange. You will need a beep card to board the West Route bus, which has a drop-off point right near the museum. Another way is to take the MRT-3 to Guadalupe Station, ride a jeepney heading to Market! Market!, and then take a short walk along 26th Street. If you choose to drive, you will face the absolute headache of BGC rush hour traffic, especially along C5 and Kalayaan Avenue from 5 PM onwards. Parking is available at the JY Campos Park basement, but it fills up extremely fast during Saturdays and Sundays.
