- Average Spend: ₱1,500 - ₱3,000 per person

Shooting the Rapids and the Devil's Cave
The highlight of the trip is the boat ride itself. You will board a narrow wooden canoe with two boatmen who will literally pull and push the boat upstream against the strong current and over rocky rapids using their feet. It is a grueling physical task, and you will definitely get wet from the splashing river water. Once you reach the main falls, you can ride a large bamboo raft that goes directly under the cascading water and into the Devil's Cave behind the falls. The pressure of the water hitting your back is like an intense massage, and the echoing roar inside the dark cave is absolutely deafening.
The Commuter Route to the Laguna Rapids
Getting to Pagsanjan by public transport involves a couple of steps. Head to the bus terminal in Cubao or Buendia and take a bus heading to Santa Cruz, Laguna. The bus ride takes about two to three hours depending on the traffic exiting SLEX. Once you drop off at the terminal in Santa Cruz, walk to the main road and board a jeepney bound for Pagsanjan or Cavinti. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Pagsanjan tourism office or your chosen resort jump-off point. It is a humid and noisy commute, so wearing waterproof clothing and packing your gadgets in dry bags is highly recommended before you get on the boat.
