Flagship Brands and Olympic Ice

Mega Fashion Hall is the high-end extension of SM Megamall, housing international flagship stores like H&M and Uniqlo, alongside premium fashion brands, dining concepts, and the mall's Olympic-sized ice skating rink. It also features a state-of-the-art IMAX theater. Honestly, compared to the older wings of Megamall, the Fashion Hall feels much brighter, wider, and less claustrophobic, making it the preferred shopping destination for locals.

The top floor has a great selection of restaurants and cafes, including some famous international chains. On weekends, the ice skating rink is packed with kids and families, while the lower floors host promotional events. The fashion selection is massive, covering everything from fast fashion to luxury accessories, so you can easily spend half a day here browsing the shops. It's a great spot to cool down, but keep in mind that weekend crowds are huge, and the food court lines can get frustratingly long.

Battling the EDSA Ortigas Crosswalks

Commuting here is relatively easy but can get hectic. The mall is accessible via MRT-3 Ortigas or Shaw Boulevard Station. The walk from Ortigas Station is covered but narrow, and crossing EDSA during the afternoon rush hour is a chaotic battle against buses and crowds. If you're arriving by car, the parking entrance along Bank Drive gets heavily backed up, and the parking building is a maze. Taking the MRT or using rideshare is usually much less stressful, especially during Friday afternoon rush hours when Ortigas Center is gridlocked.
