Premium Movie Screens and Plush Seats

The Power Plant Mall Cinemas, commonly known as Rockwell Cinema, are widely considered some of the best movie theaters in Metro Manila. They offer plush, comfortable seating, top-tier projection and sound systems, and a VIP theater option with reclining leather seats and butler service. Honestly, if you want a premium movie-watching experience away from the massive crowds of other commercial malls, this is the place to go. The snack bar serves excellent popcorn and hotdogs, though they are priced higher than standard theater concessions.

The lobby has a very sleek, high-end design, and the theaters are clean and well-maintained. Because the mall itself caters to a wealthier crowd, the cinemas are rarely rowdy, making it a great date night spot. You can grab dinner at one of the mall's top-tier restaurants and then catch a late-night screening with friends or family.

Rockwell's Transit Isolation

The main struggle with Rockwell is the transport access. It is not directly connected to any MRT or LRT station. The closest train stop is MRT-3 Guadalupe or Buendia Station. From Guadalupe, you can ride a jeepney bound for Leon Guinto and get off at Rockwell, but these jeepneys are often cramped and slow. Alternatively, you can take a Grab or taxi, but traffic along J.P. Rizal and Estrella Street during rush hour is terrible. If you drive, the mall basement parking is clean and safe, but finding a slot on weekends requires patience.
